Tinley's Ale Trail Trolley Gets 'Jolly' For Holiday Runs

The free trolley visiting Tinley Park spots will roll again two Wednesdays in December, as the Jolly Trolley.

TINLEY PARK, IL — Tinley's Ale Trail Trolley will roll again for the holidays, with its transformation into the Jolly Trolley.

On Wednesday, Dec. 11 and Wednesday, Dec. 18, the trolleys will once again make their loops around Tinley Park, stopping at some of your favorite restaurants and bars. The trolleys will be decorated for the occasion and feature entertainment to keep the holiday spirit alive, the Village's Marketing Department said.

Two trolleys will run from 5 to 10 p.m., making continuous loops with stops at:

  • Downtown Tinley, including:
    • SIP, 17424 Oak Park Ave.
    • Banging Gavel, 17400 Oak Park Ave.
    • Downtown Tinley Holiday Walk Light Display
  • Cuzins and Bailey's (one stop): 17704 Oak Park Ave, and 17731 Oak Park Ave. A
  • Flipside Brewing, 7144 183rd St.
  • Hailstorm Brewery, 8060 186th St.
  • Soundgrowler Brewery, 8201 183rd St Suite P
  • Townpointe Center, including:
    • Hillgrove Tap, 9501 W 171st St Suite R.
    • Frankies Est. 1988, 9501 W 171st St Unit A
  • Siam Marina, 16846 Oak Park Ave.

Each restaurant and bar will feature specials on-themed cocktails, non-alcoholic beverages, food, and delightful holiday entertainment, the Village said.

Free parking is available at the Oak Park Avenue train station for those who want to catch the trolley at the SIP stop. Trolleys will arrive at each stop about every 30 minutes, and both trolleys are ADA-compliant.
