Beers, Burgers And A Holiday Bazaar Back At Tinley's Flipside Brewing

TINLEY PARK, IL — Flipside Brewing is bringing back its Beers, Burgers and a Holiday Bazaar this Sunday, Dec. 15, a chance to shop local and enjoy their famous smash burgers and craft brews. With 14 talented local artists showcasing handmade creations, the artisan market is a stop for holiday shoppers seeking one-of-a-kind gifts.

The Holiday Bazaar runs from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Flipside Brewing, 7144 183rd St, Tinley Park. The event is free to attend, family-friendly, and offers ample parking in the shopping center lot.

Curated by John E. Streetz of the Streetz Artz Alliance, the market features a mix of returning favorites and fresh faces, ensuring a vibrant and diverse lineup of artisans. Returning artists include Adara Selene Creations, Libby McArthur Art, Sharonable Crafts, and Ten Cups Tarot, while first-time participants include Derelict Books, GLP Works, Mack’s Stacks of Wax, and Paint the Town Mary.

Shoppers will find an array of handmade goods, including copper electro-formed jewelry, vinyl records, 3D-printed creations, sparkling ornaments, candles, and more. Items span from pickled peppers and freshly roasted coffee to original art and tarot readings.

"Each piece I create is inspired by nature, featuring real plants and fungi preserved in copper," said Jen Gontarek, owner of Gratefully Dreaming. "I love using elements like cedar, sage leaves, and wildflowers, accented with raw gemstones, to create wearable art."

Flipside’s monthly burger spotlight is the Bourbonzola Burger—a decadent creation featuring two smash patties, Gorgonzola cheese, prosciutto, bourbon glaze, and arugula. Pair it with one of their 14 beers on tap, including the newly released Santa’s Midnight Snack, a chocolate chip cookie-inspired milk stout. In collaboration with The Open Bottle, $1 from each bottle of this brew supports Tinley Wish, a local charity. While supplies last.

The brewery also offers an array of menu options for guests to enjoy alongside their shopping and sipping experience.
