TINLEY PARK, IL — The holiday season is nearly upon us here in Tinley Park. One way to get into the season of giving is participating in an upcoming toy drive.

The Tinley Park Seniors and Law Enforcement Together (S.A.L.T.) group is hosting a toy drive to benefit the Pediatric Oncology Treasure Chest Foundation. According to the village, the foundation is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing comfort and distraction from painful procedures to children and teens who have been diagnosed with cancer by providing gifts from a treasure chest.

Those who wish to get involved in the upcoming toy drive by providing donations can bring new, unwrapped toys, $5 gift cards or gifts for teenagers to the drop box at the Tinley Park Police Department, 7850 W. 183rd St.
