Village, Cook County Officials To Host Property Tax Appeal Forum
The forum will be held Thursday, August 8 at the Kallsen Center.
TINLEY PARK, IL — Tinley Park officials will hold a forum to guide residents through the property tax appeal process.
Mayor Michael Glotz, Cook County Board of Review Commissioner Larry R. Rogers Jr., and the Village Board will host the forum for Tinley Park residents for Bremen, Rich, and Orland Township at 6 p.m. Thursday, August 8 in the Kallsen Center at Tinley Park Village Hall, 16250 S. Oak Park Ave.
Members of the Board of Review will present an outline of the appeal process, followed by a dedicated question-and-answer session, officials said.

The Cook County Board of Review will be bringing analysts to assist in pre-filing appeals for the Board of Review. Residents will be able to fill out the paperwork and hand it to them to process your appeal. Residents should be sure to bring their PIN number (Property Index Number). In advance of the forum, Glotz and board members will be stationed at Krema Coffee Roasters inside the Oak Park Avenue Metra Station, 6700 South St., on Saturday, August 3 from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. They will provide forms to pre-file and turn in to Rogers Jr. on August 8. Residents will need one of their last tax bills to verify all information is correct.
