Village To Host Open House On Tinley's Comprehensive Plan

TINLEY PARK, IL — Tinley Park officials are inviting residents to participate in a forum about the Village's new comprehensive plan, with an open house set for July 24.

The open house will be held Wednesday, July 24, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday, July 24 at the Tinley Park Convention Center, 18451 Convention Center Drive.

The comprehensive plan "is a collective community blueprint that will help guide the next decade of development and decision-making in the Village," officials said.

The plan isn't a code or an ordinance, but "rather a roadmap for sustainable and balanced growth," officials said. The goal is to create a community-led vision for the next five to 10 years.

Residents are invited to attend to the open house, share ideas and offer feedback on the new plan.
