Volunteers Needed For Tinley's Oktoberfest
The event will be held in the 80th Avenue Metra station, Sept. 15–17.
TINLEY PARK, IL — Organizers are putting a call out for volunteers for its Oktoberfest celebration, set for Sept. 15–17.
"The event draws in more than 30,000 people over three days, and it takes a lot of Volunteers to make it work!" organizers shared on social media. "If you already volunteer, thank you, we truly appreciate it! If not, please consider helping us this year."
Hosted by the Tinley Park Chamber of Commerce, the event takes place at the 80th Avenue Metra station. Attendees will enjoy authentic German food, a carnival, vendor fair, traditional and modern musical entertainment, ceremonial keg tapping, food and beer from local vendors. Admission for adults is $5, and children with adults are free.

Volunteers will receive a T-shirt, along with a food and beverage voucher that can be used at any of the festival's vendors.

4:15–8 p.m.
7:30–11 p.m.
