TINLEY PARK, IL — Tributes continue for late Andrew High School science teacher Lloyd Eichwald nearly a month after he died. The latest — a video — was posted on the YouTube channel for the school's student council.

The video was created by Jim Subka, a member of Andrew's aviation club. It showcases a variety of photos featuring Eichwald with students and during school events while music from Bon Jovi and Wiz Khalifa plays. Quotes from students — as well as terms and catchphrases Eichwald had used while teaching — also were included.

Near the end, Eichwald appears on camera to deliver an expression he was known for: "And don't forget: Biolgy is life." The video concludes with a short message and portraits of Eichwald before fading to black:

"Rest In Peace Mr. Eichwald. You will be greatly missed, especially by your Students, Coworkers, and Friends at Victor J. Andrew High School. You impacted thousands of lives throughout your career. Thank you for everything you have done."

The video tribute, which can be viewed above, follows a GoFundMe campaign to raise money to create The Aspiring Scholar Scholarship, which takes its name from the way Eichwald would greet students at the start of class by saying, "Good morning, aspiring students." After 20 days, the campaign has raised $2,805, which exceeds its $2,000 goal.
