Zoning Changes For New Tinley Firehouse Include Bigger Driveways
The new that replaces the 45-year-old firehouse will require bigger driveways, more lighting and additional signs.

TINLEY PARK, IL — Brementowne Estates residents may be one step closer to getting a new fire station as village official consider special requests for fencing, lights and driveways Tuesday night.
The village plans to demolish the 45-year-old fire station at 7825 167th Street and replace it with a 10,000-square foot, one-story building. The new building will be given a "residential feel" with a red brick facade with gray accents. A patio, generator and trash areas will be concealed with matching brick walls.
To do this, planning officials are asking for several zoning changes, including bigger driveway aprons. Landscaping and lighting also require changes.
