Charity Luncheon to Benefit Alzheimer's Walk
Come out to Century Park in Vernon Hills Thursday for a great lunch and support the upcoming "Walk to End Alzheimer's."
The Village of Vernon Hills will host its 8th annual charity luncheon to raise funds for the "Walk to End Alzheimer's" from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Thursday, May 16 in Century Park.
For a $5 donation, guests can enjoy a burger, brat or hot dog plus chips and a drink. Entertainment will be blues/jazz/folk music by Gus Stag.
The 2013 "Walk to End Alzheimer's," sponsored by the Alzheimer's Association, will be held at Independence Grove in Libertyville on Oct. 5.
