Family of Murdered Vernon Hills Woman Files Wrongful Death Suit
The first-degree murder trial of Ronald Stolberg got underway Monday.

A wrongful death suit has been filed against a former Vernon Hills man accused of killing his wife in June 2011, allegedly because she interrupted his sleep.
Ronald Stolberg, 49, is charged with four counts of murder. Jury selection was to begin Monday, reported the Daily Herald.
Suggesting she was murdered for her money, the family of victim Rachel Stolberg is seeking damages of more than $150,000, according to the Daily Herald.

While he was out on bond, Ronald Stolberg allegedly sold the couple's home and attempted to take money out of the victim's bank account, reported the Lake County News-Sun.
