Join the inaugural Hawthorn Hustle 5K around Big Bear and Little Bear Lakes in Century Park on Saturday, Oct. 15 at 9 a.m. All ages are welcome to run, walk, or even push strollers at the sled hill in Vernon Hills. Enjoy music and celebrate with the community. Many local vendors will have food available for purchase for this fundraiser for Hawthorn Elementary District 73. Every registered participant will receive a t-shirt. The fee will be discounted to those who register by Oct. 1.
