Lake County Launches New Website Dedicated to Boating and Water Activities
Love boating and other activities on Lake County's lakes and waterways? You need to check out this new website, BoatingLakeCounty.com.
With 75 inland lakes and Lake Michigan beachfront to enjoy, Lake County is aptly named.
Water revelers will enjoy this new website launched by Visit Lake County, BoatingLakeCounty.com, which includes local maps, information on boat rentals, cool apps for your Smart phone, updated weather conditions, suggestions for activities such as boating, charter fishing, sailing, canoeing and camping and much more.
The site is also a resource for boaters to get information on boating applications, waterway user fees, stickers and water safety.
Visit Lake County's Marketing Manager, Anthony Haag, recently told Pioneer Press that the new website was a collaborative effort that included insight from area marinas, municipalities, businesses and the Lake County Forest Preserves.
"From finding fun to staying safe, BoatingLakeCounty.com is your complete resource for boating and water recreation in northeast Illinois," boasts a press release on the site.
