• W.P. Carey works out deal for national portfolio of Life Time fitness clubs (costar.com) — A national real estate investor just bought the Life Time fitness property at 680 Woodlands Parkway in Vernon Hills as part of a $300 million, 10-club portfolio deal. The gym will keep operating under Life Time, but the building’s new owner is New York-based W.P. Carey, which is shifting its focus toward industrial properties while still holding select retail sites like this one.
