Police Blotter: 2 Teens Charged with Walmart Theft, 2 Others Run from Police

ALCOHOL
Zhanna Dikhtyar, 39, of 233 Wood Creek Road, Wheeling, was charged with consumption of alcohol in a park July 24 at Century Park. Her court date is Sept. 12 in Mundelein.
Alexis M. Valle, 18, of 8953 Robin Drive, Des Plaines, was charged with driving under the influence and disobeying a traffic control device July 26 at Townline Road and Route 45. His court date is Aug. 21 in Waukegan.

Victor G. Oceguera-Garcia, 32, of 1638 S. Cicero, Cicero, was charged with aggravated driving under the influence, no rear registration lamp, driving on a suspended license and two warrants July 27 at Route 45 and Circle Drive. His court date is Aug. 29 in Waukegan.
Joseph R. Lyons, 22, of 526 Dawes St., Libertyville, was charged with driving under the influence, obstructing police, possession of cannabis, illegal transportation of alcohol, unsafe U-turn, speeding, improper lane usage and not carrying a driverβs license July 30 on the 800 block of South Milwaukee Avenue. His court date was not available.

DRUGS
Alonso Lazos, 22, of 423 Cherry Valley Road, Vernon Hills, was charged with possession of a controlled substance July 19 at Butterfield Road and Orleans Drive. Police said Lazos was found in possession of cocaine during a traffic stop. His court date was unavailable.
Tom L. Lupa, 26, of 1608 N. Park Dr., Mount Prospect, was charged with possession of cannabis, possession of drug paraphernalia and driving with one headlight July 25 at Milwaukee Avenue and Olde Half Day Road. His court date is Sept. 12 in Mundelein.
Brandon L. Cohen, 18, of 1657 Woods Way, Vernon Hills, was charged with driving under the influence, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of cannabis July 30 at Townline Road and Lakeview Parkway. Police said while they investigated an accident, Cohen admitted to smoking cannabis. His court date is Aug. 28 in Waukegan.
DISORDERLY CONDUCT
Danielle C. Fensterle, 38, of 840 Lakeside Drive, Vernon Hills, was charged with disorderly conduct July 22 at her home after police said she filed a false report. Her court date was unavailable.
PUBLIC INDECENCY
Cory R. Houser, 31, of 380 Cross Creek Lane, Lindenhurst, was charged with public indecency July 29 at Westfield Hawthorn mall after police said he admitted to masturbating in his vehicle. His court date was unavailable.
THEFT
Jose A. Banuelos-Villegas, 19, of 1206 Tobin Court, Waukegan, was charged with retail theft July 23 at Sears after police said he left the store without paying for $36.36 in clothing. His court date is Sept. 12 in Mundelein.
Tomas Hezina, 33, of 106 Redman Way SW, Poplar Grove, was charged with retail theft July 23 at Walmart after police said he left the store without paying for $2.44 in alcohol. His court date is Aug. 21 in Waukegan.
Shari L. Keene, 64, of 134 Burr Oak Ct., Deerfield, was charged with retail theft July 25 at Kohlβs after police said she left the store without paying for $98 in jewelry. Her court date is Aug. 8 in Mundelein.
David C. Armato, 48, of 604 S. Lake St., Mundelein, was charged with theft July 26 at Cook Memorial Library after police said he took cash from a victimβs purse. His court date is Aug. 12 in Waukegan.
Juan C. Brito, 36, of 650 S. McCalister, Waukegan, was charged with retail theft and battery July 26 at Macyβs after police said he left the store without paying for a hat and pushed a loss prevention officer. His court date is Sept. 12 in Mundelein.
A 16-year-old boy was charged with retail theft July 25 at Macyβs after police said he left the store without paying for $71.69 in clothing. His court date is Aug. 8 in Mundelein.
Kylie N. Pedraza, 18, of 1024 E. Bonner Road, Wauconda, was charged with retail theft July 25 at Walmart after police said she left the store without paying for $143.08 in merchandise. Her court date is Sept. 12 in Mundelein.
A 16-year-old boy and a 16-year-old girl were charged with retail theft July 30 at Walmart after police said they left the store without paying for $5.42 in groceries. Their court dates are Sept. 12 in Mundelein. Two other boys, ages 15 and 16, were charged with resisting arrest and possession of tobacco by a minor after police said they ran from officers and were caught in possession of tobacco products. The 16-year-oldβs court date is Sept. 12. The 15-year-oldβs court date was unavailable.
