Police Blotter: Charges for Drugs, Alcohol, Theft and Damage to Police Car

ALCOHOL
Christina C. Clement, 18, of 36820 N. Old Woods Trail, Gurnee, was charged with driving under the influence, improper turn, failure to yield to an emergency vehicle and two counts of illegal transportation of alcohol July 4 at Lakeview and Hawthron parkways. A passenger, Edward W. Rosenthal, 20, of 8 Newgate Court, Lake Zurich, was charged with possession of alcohol by a minor and two counts of illegal transportation of alcohol. Their court dates were unavailable.
Jose Gonzaga, 25, of 933 Winthrop Court, Mundelein, was charged with driving under the influence, improper lane usage, disobeying a red light, driving on a suspended license, blood-alcohol content above the legal limit and possession of drug paraphernalia July 6 at the Metra station. His court date is Aug. 7 in Waukegan.

Aleksandr Tabachnikov, 52, of 2517 W. Jerome, Chicago, was charged with driving under the influence, failure to display and improper lane usage July 6 at Milwaukee Avenue and Ring Drive. His court date is July 24 in Waukegan.
ASSAULT

Giovanni L. Renteria, 23, of 4202 11th St., Winthrop Harbor, was charged with aggravated assault, criminal damage to property, resisting arrest June 29 on the 200 block of South Milwaukee Avenue. Police said while they were investigating another call, Renteria threatened officers, resisted arrest and damaged a squad car. His court date is July 19 in Mundelein.
BATTERY
Patrick M. Alee, 57, of 402 N. Concord Drive., Freeport, was charged with battery July 2 on the 400 block of River Grove Court after police said he grabbed a victim. His court date is Aug. 8 in Mundelein.
DISORDERLY CONDUCT
Gintaras Dusevicius, 52, of 450 Stevenson Place, Vernon Hills, was charged with disorderly conduct July 8 at 450 Stevenson Place after police said he pounded on a door, alarming the residents inside. His court date is Aug. 8 in Mundelein.
DRUGS
Jordan O. Brenner, 18, of 2469 Waterbury Lane, Buffalo Grove, was charged with possession of cannabis, possession of drug paraphernalia and driving without lights when required July 6 at Old Half Day Road and Milwaukee Avenue. His court date is Aug. 8 in Mundelein.
Leonardo Bahena, 22, of 23 N. Wolf Road, Prospect Heights, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia July 6 on the 700 block of Birch Court while police investigated another incident. His court date is Aug. 8 in Mundelein.
Edward E. Weaver, 52, of 100 Appian Way, Vernon Hills, was charged with driving under the influence, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of cannabis and improper lane usage July 7 at Deerpath Drive and Marimac Lane. His court date is Aug. 7 in Waukegan.
HIT & RUN
Sergio A. Franco, 28, of 2204 Ezekial, Zion, was charged with hit and run, no insurance and was arrested on a DuPage County warrant for retail theft July 2 on the 300 block of Milwaukee Avenue after police said he left the scene of an accident. His court date is Aug. 8 in Waukegan.
THEFT
Derrica Shi Ann Rushkin-Hicks, 18, of 3210 Wembley Drive, Zion, was charged with retail theft July 2 at JC Penney after police said she left the store without paying for $160 in clothing and jewelry. Her court date is Aug. 8 in Mundelein.
Victor S. Wright, 19, of 430 Pine Lake Circle, Vernon Hills, was charged with retail theft July 4 at Macyβs after police said he left the store without paying for $125 in clothing. His court date is July 24 in Waukegan.
A 17-year-old boy was charged with retail theft July 6 at Carson Pirie Scott after leaving the store without paying for a $45 wallet. His court date was unavailable.
Christie L. Gordon, 37, of 112 E. Willow Drive, Round Lake Park, was charged with theft July 7 at TJ Maxx after police said she made fraudulent returns and took money from her cash register for a total loss of $311.30. Her court date is Aug. 8 in Mundelein.
Martha Garcia, 43, and Martha Lopez, 19, both of 38455 N. Sheridan, Beach Park, were charged with retail theft July 8 at JC Penney after police said they left the store without paying for $194 in clothing and jewelry. Their court dates are Aug. 8 in Mundelein.
