Police Blotter: Man Charged with Urinating on Neighbor's Fence

ALCOHOL
Pari Sivakumar, 44, of 1070 Holly Circle, Lake Zurich, was charged with driving under the influence, driving with a blood-alcohol content above .08, illegal transportation of alcohol and failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident March 15 on the 300 block of West Townline Road. He posted his driver’s license and a $100 cash bond. His court date was not available.
Misael Abarca, 20, of 931 S. Lake St., Mundelein, was charged with driving under the influence, speeding, improper lane usage, illegal transportation of alcohol, driving without a seatbelt, driving on a suspended license and driving without insurance March 17 on the 700 block of east Townline Road. He posted a $300 cash bond. His court date is April 10 in Waukegan.

Melissa Guzman, 20, of 2012 Gideon Ave., Zion, was charged with driving under the influence, driving with a blood-alcohol content above the legal limit, driving without insurance, driving on a suspended license and unsafe lane change March 17 on the 200 block of east Lakeside Drive. She posted a $300 cash bond. Her court date is April 10 in Waukegan.Â
CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE

Kris A. Chery, 21, of 511 W. Millers Road, Des Plaines, was charged with attempted possession of a controlled substance, driving on a suspended license, driving without insurance and improper lane usage March 18 at Deerpath Road and Route 45. Police said they found Adderall that was not prescribed to Chery in his vehicle. He posted a $150 cash bond. His court date is April 11 in Waukegan.
DISORDERLY CONDUCT
Li Su, 22, of 22 Lindon Lane, Vernon Hills, was charged with disorderly conduct March 16 after he was observed urinating on a neighbor’s fence. He posted a $120 cash bond. His court date was not available.
THEFT
Rose M. Parks, 51, of 1357 Judge Place, Waukegan, was charged with retail theft March 11, after she left Carson’s in Hawthorn without paying for $1,103 in jewelry. She was also arrested on a warrant from the Waukegan Police Department. She was remanded on a $5,000 bond. Her court date was not available.
Bethany R. Cates, 26, of 21 Spring St., #6, Cary, was charged with retail theft March 15 after she left Kohl’s without paying for $153 in jewelry. Her court date is April 11 in Mundelein.
A 14-year-old boy was charged with retail theft March 16 after he left Sears in Hawthorn without paying for a wallet and a watch valued at $62.99. His court date is April 11 in Mundelein.
