Police Looking For Missing, Endangered Man From Vernon Hills

The state police have issued an alert asking for the public's help in locating an endangered 75-year-old man.

The state police have issued an alert asking for the public’s help in locating an endangered 75-year-old man who went missing from Vernon Hills.

The Illinois State Police activated an Endangered Missing Person Advisory for Jack Krause, 75, Sunday afternoon. The Vernon Hills Police Department reported that Krause is a white male, who is 5-foot-10 and weighs 228 pounds.

Krause has gray hair and was last seen wearing a brown long-sleeve shirt and blue jeans. Krause was last seen driving a blue Kia Forte sedan with Illinois license CF46202.

The alert said that Krause has a condition that places him in danger. Authorities did not provide a last known location for Krause or say if he resides in Vernon Hills or not.

Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of the man is asked to contact the Vernon Hills Police Department at 847-362-4449.
