Real Urban Barbecue is celebrating Passover and Easter this year with a special carry-out menu perfect to fit any family gathering. The carryout menu will be available at all Real Urban Barbecue locations, in Downtown Highland Park (610 Central Ave. #177), Vernon Hills (1260 S. Milwaukee Ave) and NOW OPEN in Oak Brook (2119 Clearwater Drive).

Begin by noshing on appetizers such as Matzo Balls or Matzo Meal Potato Pancakes, $1.50/ea; Chicken Soup $5/qt; or Sweet & Sour Meatballs $13.99 /dz.

Then, feast on the lighter side of the menu with Real Urban Barbecue’s fresh salads including Urban Salad - Boston Bibb, crumbled bleu cheese, candied walnuts; Dinner Salad - Garden Blend lettuce, tomatoes, cucumbers & carrots; Spring Salad - Mixed greens, candied beets, blue cheese, candied walnuts, white balsamic; and Strawberry & Baby Spinach Salad - Fresh baby spinach, fresh sliced strawberries, candied walnuts, served with raspberry vinaigrette dressing. Salads range from $17 for a half pan to $72 for a full pan.

Feast on entrees such as Smoked Bone in Spiral Honey Ham $65.99 9lb average; Hickory Smoked Pork Loin $12.99/ lb (3lb min); Our Signature Brisket $15.99/lb; Herb Roasted Chicken thyme, rosemary & citrus $12.99/ea; Smoked All Natural Turkey Breast $12.99/lb Our original turkey, rubbed, smoked & sliced; Whole Smoked All Natural Turkey Breast $41.99/ 3.25 lbs same as above, but whole; and Smoked Salmon Side $39.99 (2 lb average).
