Vernon Hills High School Wrestlers to Compete at Lakes Saturday
Vernon Hills will take on Antioch, Carmel, Grayslake Central, Grayslake North, Lakes, North Chicago, St. Viator and Wauconda.
The Vernon Hills High School wrestling team will compete in an important meet at Lakes High School on Saturday, Feb. 2. The top three individuals will advance into sectionals at Antioch next weekend, and the team champion will head to the dual-team sectional, the Daily Herald reports.
Vernon Hills High School will face off against Antioch, Carmel, Grayslake Central, Grayslake North, Lakes, North Chicago, St. Viator and Wauconda.
The state individual tournament will be held Feb. 14-16 in Champaign, while the dual-team state tournament is scheduled for Feb. 23 in Bloomington.
