“These agencies provide critical services to our residents, and we’re proud to help support their work through this yearly grant program,” said Vernon Township Supervisor Tim Kobler. “Whether it’s access to legal assistance, advocacy for children, or support for seniors, these nonprofits help ensure our community is safer, healthier and more connected.”

The grant program operates separately from the Vernon Township Community Mental Health Board and is focused specifically on services outside of the mental health umbrella. Grants are awarded based on criteria such as service alignment with Township functions, accessibility to residents, and a demonstrated track record of providing effective and measurable support.
