Winterfest Held This Weekend In Vernon Hills
There will be a sled dog team, free ice skates to rent and a campfire where you can roast s'mores.
VERNON HILLS, IL — A team of sled dogs will be among the attractions at this weekend's Winterfest in Vernon Hills.
The free event will run from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday at the pavilion at Century Park, 1400 Indianwood Drive in Vernon Hills, according to information from the village of Vernon Hills Park District.
There will be sled dogs to watch in action and a campfire where you can roast s'mores. There will also be free ice skates available to rent, weather permitting, according to the park district's website.
