Armed DUI Suspect In Western Springs: Cops

Hinsdale police stopped him after Western Springs officers tried to pull him over, police said.

WESTERN SPRINGS, IL – An Aurora man carrying a concealed gun was accused of drunken driving in Western Springs, police said.

Police said they were called about a reckless driver about 7:30 a.m. Sept. 16 near Ogden Avenue and Wolf Road. The 35-year-old Aurora man was stopped by Hinsdale police after a Western Springs officer tried to pull him over.

He was charged with attempting to elude an officer, carrying a concealed weapon while under the influence, improperly using lanes and disregarding a traffic signal.
