WESTERN SPRINGS, IL β The second phase of Burlington Avenue improvements in Western Springs is set to start Monday.

The sidewalk is set to be closed for reconstruction to meet updated Americans With Disabilities Act standards at the south corners of Woodland Avenue and the southwest corner of Grand Avenue.
The village said lane restrictions will be in place to accommodate construction equipment and ensure access to businesses. Officials don't expect long-term road closures to complete the work.
