Blackhawks Victory Earns Palmer Place a Congressional Shout Out

Palmer Place is a go-to spot in La Grange for watching the Chicago Blackhawks—and now the U.S. House of Representatives knows it, too.

During a statement on the House floor congratulating the Hawks Tuesday, Rep. Dan Lipinski (IL-3) described how he watched the team clinch the Stanley Cup at our beloved watering hole.

“Last night, sorrow quickly turned to joy when the Hawks netted two goals in 17 seconds, avoiding a Game 7,” Lipinski said. “The crowd at Palmer Place in LaGrange erupted as Chelsea Dagger played and we celebrated a second Cup in four seasons.”
