Car In Western Springs Burglarized; Wallet Stolen
The burglary was reported in a local neighborhood. The car was unlocked, police said.
WESTERN SPRINGS, IL – A wallet stolen from an unlocked car in the 1300 block of Walnut Street meant losses for the owner, police said.
The burglary, which occurred on Halloween, was reported four days later.
Police said the wallet contained $660 in gift cards and cash.

The owner later noticed eight unauthorized charges on her debit card, amounting to $363, police said.
