Competitive Foot Bids Farewell to Western Springs

Competitive Foot says goodbye: After 39 years in Western Springs, the Competitive Foot closed up shop on Monday. “Thanks for the memories!” the store wrote on its Facebook page. But fans take heart: You can still visit the Competitive Foot at its Oak Park location, 102 N. Marion St.

Dance it up: There’s still time to sign up for one of the Park District of La Grange Park’s dance camps. The classes run Aug. 12-16, with sessions geared toward kids ages 3-12. There’s something to get any kids toes tapping, whether they’re into jazz, tap, or hip-hop.
