E-Scooter Stolen From Western Springs Front Yard: Cops
In another case, a DUI suspect was found asleep behind the wheel, police said.

WESTERN SPRINGS, IL β Here is information from the Western Springs Police Department's last three weekly blotters:
Theft
- An electric scooter was stolen Nov. 24 from a front lawn in the 4000 block of Woodland Avenue. It was valued at $250.

- A 47-year-old Chicago man was arrested about 5 p.m. Nov. 22 in the 600 block of Ogden Avenue on charges of DUI, illegal transportation of alcohol and improper parking on the roadway. Officers were called because the man was asleep at the wheel.
Fraud
- A resident in the 4500 block of Howard Avenue told police Nov. 19 that someone fraudulently used the resident's credit cards.
- A resident in the 4400 block of Howard Avenue told police Nov. 10 about being scammed out of $200 in gift cards bought over the phone.
No license

- A 26-year-old Chicago woman was arrested about 9:30 p.m. Nov. 26 at Ogden and Lawn avenues on charges of driving with no license and driving with no lights.
