An elderly driver accidentally struck Village Hardware in Western Springs around 5 p.m. Monday, police said.
She experienced some non life-threatening injuries, police said.
The building suffered some structural damage. Boards could be seen covering a portion of the brick foundation Tuesday morning.
The store is open, but the entrance near the site of the collision is temporarily closed.
