What will be your single most important priority if you get elected?: As the elected Clerk, I do not have an agenda or set policy. The full-time Deputy Clerk is the staff person who handles the day to day office duties.

Family Members: Raymond Jasica, spouse - serves as the W.S. representative to SEASPAR. My three children- Jeffrey, Julie Jasica-Mercola, and Daniel are all married with children of their own and do not reside in Western Springs or the adjacent communities

Why are you seeking office?: I have enjoyed working with staff and the various Boards of Trustee since my appointment in 1987 and my subsequent election to the position. I provide some continuity since the Boards are always changing.

Please add any other information pertinent to your campaign.: I have been interested in local government for many years as demonstrated by my being President of the League of Women Voters of Western Springs in the 1970's and of Tulsa, Oklahoma in the 1980's, a Board member of the LWV of Cook County in the 1970's, and a member of the local LWV for nearly fifty years.
