Why are you seeking office?: I believe that where our children end up in life has much to do with the start they get, both at home and in school. In these troubling financial times, being a part of the District 106 School Board will give me the opportunity to assist the community in continuing the long standing tradition of excellence the district enjoys.

What sets you apart from the other candidates (if applicable)?: I have both a financial and legal background that will give insights into the issues that the board will address. I am also a court trained mediator that understands how to find resolutions to difficult matters, while balancing the needs of all parties. Lastly, I am a mother of four and know how important a good education is to our children's futures.
