Fire Hydrant Flushing Begins Sept. 28

Hydrant flushing is anticipated to begin on September 28 and continue through October 2, between the hours of 8 am to 4 pm, and will include only the following areas: Old Town South, Ridge Acres, Garden Market, Fairview Estates, Lyons Township HS, Springdale, and Forest Hills.

Residents may notice discoloration of the water when the flushing takes place. If you experience discoloration, run the
cold water from a fixture that is located in the lowest level of the house until the water runs clear.
