Football: Glenbard West RB Nears 200 Yards in Win Over LT
The Lions started fast but couldn't keep it going in a 44-7 loss in La Grange Friday night.
Glenbard West running back Scott Andrews ran for 195 yards in a 44-7 win over Lyons Township Friday night, according to HighSchoolCube News.
The home loss gives Lyons Township an 0-1 West Suburban Silver record, and a 1-2 record overall. Glenbard West improved to 2-0 in conference and 3-1 overall.
The Hilltoppers scored 44 straight points after Lions running back Leonard Ross ran 80 yards for a touchdown on the game's first play, HighSchoolCube reports. He would compile only five more yards the rest of the night.
