Illegal Bikes In Western Springs Result In Charges: Cops
In another case, a package was stolen from a front porch in a local neighborhood, police said.

WESTERN SPRINGS, IL β Western Springs police released their latest blotter Wednesday. Here is information from the reports:
Illegal bikes
- Two youths were cited about 4 p.m. Saturday in the 800 block of Hillgrove Avenue on charges of reckless conduct. They were riding illegal electric dirt bikes on the roadway, police said. Like other towns, Western Springs appears to be focusing more on e-bike riders. Last month, local police cited three youths on reckless conduct charges after they were seen riding e-dirt bikes in traffic.

- A FedEx package was reported stolen Aug. 26 from a front porch in the 4100 block of Grand Avenue.
