Jim Peterik, Ides of March Playing TWS Saturday
Patch gives you a quick look at what's happening this weekend in Western Springs.
They're back.
Lead man Jim Peterik and The Ides of March, best known for their 1970 hit "Vehicle," are playing Saturday night at Theatre of Western Springs, and tickets are still available.
The show begins at 8 p.m.
"With its signature horn riff and one of the most famous opening lines in rock n’ roll, 'I’m the friendly stranger in the black sedan, won’t you hop inside my car,' the Ides of March’s 'Vehicle' has earned its place in rock history, but the story behind The Ides of March has a resonance that few bands can match," TWS' website reads.
The Ides of March played TWS in 2010.
