La Grange Highlands D106 Names New Superintendent
Patricia Sullivan-Viniard, a 30 year veteran of education, will be moving from Quincy Public Schools District 172 in western Illinois.

La Grange Highlands District 106 has named Patricia Sullivan-Viniard, a former elementary school principal and the current assistant superintendent of Quincy Public Schools District 172 in western Illinois, to take over from Robert Dyer as supertintendent, the Suburban Life reports.
“Our search process attracted a large number of applicants,” Board of Education President Tom Hinshaw told the paper. “As a result, we were able to focus on finding the candidate that will build on the substantial positive momentum developed under Dr. Dyer’s leadership.
"Trish’s extensive experience, particularly in curriculum and instruction, is well suited for our efforts to continuously improve the academic achievement of our students.”

Sullivan will be the only female superintendent among districts that feed Lyons Township High School D204.
