La Grange Park Restaurant Robbed by Masked Man

A man wearing a mask entered Alex and Aldo’s in La Grange Park on Saturday night through an unlocked back door and took about $400 at gunpoint.

The robber is described as a white man, 5 feet 5 inches tall and 150 pounds, according to La Grange Park police. No one was injured.

The man held up three employees around 10 p.m. and took the end-of-day bank deposit. Personal items were not robbed from the employees, police reported.

The robber left on foot, and police are still investigating.
