Lyons Township a Top Football School in Illinois: USA Today

USA Today High School Sports has named Lyons Township High School one of the top 25 football schools in Illinois in its recent ranking of the top schools in the nation.

Lyons Township was No. 24, behind Joliet Catholic Academy and ahead of Stevenson High School. Other area schools to make the list included Glenbard West High School (No. 4), Neuqua Valley High School (No. 5), Montini High School (No. 10), Wheaton North High School at (No. 11), Benet Academy (No. 20) and Maine South High School (No. 21).

The IHSA released Lyons Township's 2013 football schedule, and it begins at home Aug. 30 against Warren, a 5-5 team in 2012. Mount Carmel High School in Chicago topped the list.
