Nazareth Closing Early Due to Heat
Nazareth closes due to extreme heat, cancels all after-school activities.

Nazareth Academy in La Grange Park will close at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday due to the heat, according to a post on the school's Facebook page.
The post reads:
"Due to the extreme the heat, we have made the decision to close school today at 1:30. All sports practices and events have been cancelled. Parents, please check your emails for full details. Students, please check your Nazareth emails for communication from your G & H period teachers. Be well."
The National Weather Service issued a special weather advisory Tuesday morning, warning of record-breaking temperatures possible in the afternoon.
