NEAT Clean Up Day Set for April 9

Western Springs, IL - Community groups and families are invited to help clean litter and debris from the public areas of the village.

The Neighborhood Environmental Appearance Team Clean Up Day will take place April 9, according to the village.

Volunteers are invited to bring rakes, brooms and gloves to help with the cleanup.

Groups are encouraged to preregister with Linda Derr at mscyee@hotmail.com or 708-246-1638 so work sites can be arranged.

Check-in and registration will take place between 8 a.m. and noon at the Recreation Center. The rain date will be Sunday, April 10.
