Charges/Citations

Thursday, Jan. 6, 9:10 p.m.: Jeffry W. Bothwell, 33, of 324 W. Winthrop Ave., Elmhurst, was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol after striking a parked vehicle at the corner of Oak Street and Central Avenue. Bothwell sustained minor injuries and was transferred to Adventist La Grange Memorial Hospital, where he was charged with DUI.

Friday, Jan. 7, 4:27 p.m.: Jose V. Gonzalez, 50, of 4834 W. Paul St., Chicago, was stopped at the corner of Ogden and Central for driving without headlights, and was charged with driving without a valid drivers license.

Saturday, Jan. 8, 1:23 a.m.: Two 19-year-old La Grange males were issued local ordinance citations for underage drinking on the 1100 block of Hillgrove Avenue.

Sunday, Jan. 9, 7:37 p.m.: James M. Yurchak, 46, of 16401 Montclare Lake Ct., Crest Hill, was stopped at the corner of Ogden Avenue and I-294 for speeding and was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol after failing field sobriety tests.
