PREVIEW: LT Football Looking for 1st Win of 2013 at Leyden

The 0-2 Eagles may be just what the Lions need to get their season on track.

Who: Lyons Township (0-2) vs. Leyden (0-2)

When: 7:30 p.m. Friday

Where: West Leyden High School, 1000 Wolf Rd., Northlake

Last week: The Lions lost to Willowbrook in a 62-49 shootout last Friday at Bennett Field in La Grange.

Willowbrook quarterback Brian Johnson threw for seven touchdowns in the game, the Daily Herald reports.

The loss dropped LT to 0-2 on the season. The Lions lost their opener to Warren in triple-overtime, according to HighSchoolCube News.

A game against the winless Eagles, who have been outscored 66-17 in their first two games combined, might be just what LT needs.

According to HighSchoolCube News, Leyden lost to OPRF, 38-3, last week after dropping its opener to Buffalo Grove, 28-14.

LT beat Leyden, 49-6, in 2012.
