This year’s event will be held at the Westchester Community Center, located at 10201 Bond Street, Westchester, IL. The 4th annual Souper Bowl event held in February 2023 raised over $14,500 for the pantry with over 250 supporters participating. The pantry has high expectations that the 2024 event will be a successful fundraiser as well as a fun community event that will allow friends and volunteers to connect with other pantry supporters.

Tickets for the event are on sale now, and can be purchased online here or at Westchesterfoodpantry.org. Tickets are also available at the door.

The Westchester Food Pantry is located at 1938 South Mannheim Road in Westchester and now serves over 440 households each month from the communities of Berkeley, Bellwood, Broadview, Hillside, Hines, La Grange Park, Westchester, and Western Springs. With the recent high inflation rates, the number of households served has increased by 75%. We are open twice a week for clients to receive fresh produce, frozen meat, canned goods, dairy products, bakery goods, and even pet food for their furry family members. Our pantry is 100% volunteer-run and relies on donations to meet our clients’ needs.

About the Westchester Food Pantry

The Westchester Food Pantry serves as a resource for those who are hungry and food insecure. Supported by the generous donations and work of our community - individuals, organizations, and businesses - we are able to supplement food needs in our village and seven neighboring communities. Our doors are open twice a week to help our neighbors in need. Through our Wet Nose Pantry, we are able to offer food and other supplies to our clients' pets so the whole family can stay together. The Westchester Food Pantry is 100% volunteer run and is entirely dependent on donations to keep our doors open.
