St. Cletus Says Hello to New Principal

Head of the class: Margaret M. Hayes joins St. Cletus School as its new principal. She’s lived and breathed Catholic education from the time she started as a student at St. Linus Elementary School to her most recent stint as an administrator at Queen of Peace and Maria high schools. Leave a welcome message for Hayes on our boards!

Craft for a cause: The Save the Prairie Society is seeking crafters and artists for its annual Prairie Fest, which is scheduled for Sept. 28 on the Prairie House grounds in Westchester. A 10-by-10 booth costs $30 ($25 if you can also commit to a rain date).

Help me celebrate my birthday and get Patch gear: A group of Patchers (including me) will be blanketing downtown La Grange on Thursday, visiting businesses and handing out Patch goodies. If you see us in our Patch shirts and wish me happy birthday, we’ll give you a Patch treat!
