How do you know the teacher?

She was my preschool teacher.

What does this person teach?

All students up to 8th grade, but primarily kindergarten and preschool.

Why do you believe the teacher should be recognized or honored?

She's hands down the best teacher I've ever had. I'm entering college now, and I haven't had another teacher as dedicated, patient, and caring as her. She truly loves all her students; she's happy to take care of her kids both inside and outside the classroom. Additionally, she can control a classroom of kids no matter their age or how unruly they are. Her ability was so well known that she was purposefully put in the hardest classes to handle. She's one of the few teachers who knows the correct time to discipline and how not to be mean when doing so.

What's one thing you want everyone to know about the teacher?

She's the kindest, most caring, and dedicated person you'll ever meet. She sees the good in every child and actively works to bring out the best in each one of her students.

She's been a stable presence in my life since I first moved to the area as a toddler. Over time, she's become a grandmother to me, something I truly cherish as my extended family lives in a different country.
