Styrofoam Recycling Resumes In October

Press release from the Village of Western Springs:

Monthly Styrofoam collection will resume the first Saturday in October, at the Recreation Center, from 9 am - 12 noon.

The Green Team will accept separated clean, dry, block foam, and food containers.
No shiny non-rip foam or ‘peanuts’ - those can be dropped off at Pack, Wrap & Send at Garden Market.

Please remain in your car. Volunteers will unload from your trunk, and your boxes/bags will be returned to you to reuse/recycle.

To recycle Styrofoam at any other time, visit either of the two DART locations.
