Taco Chain Opening In Western Springs
The business is seeking a liquor license from the village.
WESTERN SPRINGS, IL β An area taco restaurant chain is set to open in Western Springs.
With 11 locations, Taco Maya plans to lease space at the Garden Market shopping center at 4700 Gilbert Ave., which includes Mariano's grocery store. It is where the old C2 Education was.
The chain's other sites are in Chicago, Downers Grove, Schaumburg, Arlington Heights, Bloomingdale, Rosemont and Niles, according to its website.

The website states that Taco Maya is a "modern take on Authentic Mexican cuisine with bold flavors, fresh ingredients and traditional flavors. A lifestyle of food with no compromise."

In response to a Patch inquiry Monday, the chain said it is just beginning renovations of the Western Springs location. It said it would provide more information as opening day gets closer.
