Thunderstorms Cause Excessive Flight Delays
Delays at Chicago's O'Hare Airport are averaging 204 minutes.

The severe thunderstorm sweeping across the Chicago area is impacting travelers at Chicago O’Hare International Airport today.
The airport is reporting “excessive” delays averaging 204 minutes for arriving flights as of 3:45 p.m. April 17. The Ground Delay Program in effect for flights arriving through 11:59 p.m, according to flightstats.com.
The airport is also experiencing departure delays of 91 to 105 minutes.
