Thunderstorms, Heavy Rainfall Possible Tuesday

Heavy rainfall is possible during this period which may cause additional rises on rivers and prolong receding flood waters. River flooding is expected to gradually subside through the week.

  • Tuesday: Showers and possibly a thunderstorm. Temperature rising to near 56 by 10 a.m., then falling to around 46 during the remainder of the day. South southeast wind around 10 mph becoming west in the afternoon. Chance of precipitation is 90 percent. New rainfall amounts between a quarter and half of an inch possible.
  • Tuesday night: Showers likely, mainly before 1 a.m. Cloudy, with a low around 36. Northwest wind around 10 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph. Chance of precipitation is 70 percent.
