Tower Chorale has 'Bucket List' Experience in Rome
Members of the Tower Chorale of Western Springs can check "singing at the Vatican and being blessed by the new pope" off their lifetime to-do lists.
The Tower Chorale of Western Springs recently concluded its first ever concert tour, which culminated with an exciting opportunity to perform at a Sunday mass at St. Peter's Basilica in Rome, reported The Doings Western Springs.
After the mass, the group participated in Pope Francis' first Angelus, a public blessing. Tower Chorale members told The Doings it was a once-in-a-lifetime experience they'll never forget.

The Tower Chorale is seeking new members. Singers are invited to attend and open rehearsal on April 1 from 7:15 to 9:15 p.m. at Grand Avenue Center, 4211 Grand Avenue, in Western Springs.
The group's next performance will be "Songs My Mother Taught Me," under the direction of Patrick Godon, at 7:30 p.m. May and 3 p.m. May 12 at Nazareth Academy Auditorium, 1209 W. Ogden Avenue, in LaGrange Park.
