Community members recommend are encouraged to provide wrapped treats placed on a clean surface at a safe distance.

As with many annual traditions, Halloween festivities will take place differently this year, to reduce the risk of transmission of COVID-19.

La Grange, La Grange Park, Western Springs, and Countryside have issued recommendations for Trick-or-Treaters, Parents/Guardians, and Homeowners, based on Center for Disease Control (CDC) and Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH) guidelines.

Trick-or-Treating hours are on Saturday, October 31 from 3:00 - 7:00 pm.

The communities of La Grange, La Grange Park, Western Springs, and Countryside suggest that residents consider modifying trick-or-treating by providing individually wrapped treats placed on a clean surface (folding table), picked up by families at a safe distance, like at the edge of a driveway or yard.
